I have been scrimshaw carving for over 20 years. I have been in the military for over 17 years. I made the rank of Platoon Sergeant before going OCS to become an Officer in the United States Army.  I have gone to many wonderful places while serving and even did a deployment in Iraq for 18 months. I have gone to many schools and shoot at the National matches for the military. I have been to the small bore championships in Camp Perry Ohio 6 times where I have won many national championships. I have also been the State Champion of Wyoming and Ohio. I went to the Nationals for the sniper team twice and didn't place in top 5 either time.

If there is any special carvings you would like just let me know. I am honest and do everything right as you can see from my feedback on ebay. ID greatwesterncarvings

All my scrimshaw carvings I do are hand carved with a carving knife passed down from my grandfather. You won't find any of my scrimshaw carvings done by any machines which is why you will see great detail in my carvings. Dremel tools are great but they can't give you the fine detail you get by hand. I owe everything to my grandfather who always was there for me.

I carve on all sorts of material such as: whitetail deer antlers, mule deer antlers, fallow deer antlers, elk antlers, moose antlers, antler beads (that I make), buffalo bone, cow bone, elk bone, ivory, teeth, and wood.

The scrimshaw carving you see in the pictures is the carving you will receive. Once the scrimshaw carving is sold you WILL not see on like it again. You are getting one of a kind scrimshaw carvings, wood carvings, bolo ties, antler stands and necklaces.
